Overview

Add 9Pic AI to Claude as a custom connector, or to Claude Code with one command. After you sign in, Claude can read your events, import photos from a shared folder, preview processing credits and publish galleries when you ask.
Server address: https://mcp.9pic.ai/mcp

Claude on the Web, Desktop and Mobile

Custom connectors are available on every Claude plan. The Free plan allows one custom connector. A connector you add on the web also appears in the Claude desktop and mobile apps.
1

Open connector settings

In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
2

Add a custom connector

Click Add and choose to add a custom connector. Name it 9Pic AI and paste https://mcp.9pic.ai/mcp as the remote server address.
3

Keep the default sign-in options

Leave the advanced OAuth client fields empty. 9Pic AI signs you in without a client ID or secret.
4

Connect and sign in

Click Add, then Connect. Sign in with your 9Pic dashboard account and approve the access request.
5

Turn it on in a chat

In a new chat, open the + menu, choose Connectors and make sure 9Pic AI is switched on. Then ask “List my 9Pic AI organisations.”
On Claude Team and Enterprise plans, an owner adds the connector once in the organisation’s connector settings. Each member then clicks Connect and signs in with their own 9Pic account, so everyone keeps their own permissions.

Claude Code

Claude Code connects to remote MCP servers over HTTP. In your terminal:
Add --scope user to make 9Pic AI available in every project, not only the current folder.
1

Start Claude Code

Run claude in your project folder.
2

Type /mcp, select 9pic-ai and choose to authenticate. Your browser opens the 9Pic sign-in page. Approve the request and return to the terminal.
3

Check the connection

Ask “List my 9Pic AI organisations.” Claude Code asks before it runs each 9Pic AI tool unless you allow it.
To share the server with your team through the project, add it to a .mcp.json file at the project root. Each person still signs in with their own account:
.mcp.json

Prompts to Try

  • “Show the events in this organisation and which ones are still in draft.”
  • “What is the photo processing status for the city marathon?”
  • “Add this Google Drive folder as a photo source for Sunday’s 10K and import the photos.”
  • “Preview processing 500 photos and tell me the credit cost.”
  • “Write a short race-day report with gallery engagement for every event this month.”

Disconnect

  • Claude: open Customize, then Connectors, and disconnect or remove 9Pic AI.
  • Claude Code: run claude mcp remove 9pic-ai.

Common Questions

No. Claude’s Free plan allows one custom connector. Your 9Pic plan decides which features and how many credits you can use.
Leave those fields empty. If Claude cannot connect without them, see Fix Connection Issues.
The MCP server lets Claude operate your 9Pic account. Agent Skills teach Claude Code how to write code against the 9Pic API when you build your own gallery or photo search. Developers often use both.
Reconnect 9Pic AI from Connectors in Claude, or run /mcp again in Claude Code and sign in.
