Symptoms

  • Bib search returns no results.
  • Name search returns no results.
  • Selfie search does not find matches.

Quick Checks

  1. Confirm photos are synced and processed — participants can only search what’s been processed.
  2. Confirm the right search methods are enabled in 9Pic Photo → Configuration.
  3. For races, confirm bib (and name) search is enabled and the bib detection range covers your numbers.

Fix Steps

Open Configuration

Open your event and go to 9Pic Photo → Configuration.

Enable the right search methods

Turn on Selfie Search and, for races, Bib Search. Name Search is an add-on under Bib Search and needs a bib-to-name CSV.

Save your changes

Configuration changes are staged — click Save in the footer. The dashboard warns you if you try to leave with unsaved changes.

Widen bib detection if needed

If some bibs aren’t found, open the bib detection settings and widen the digit range or add explicit ranges. Re-process if you changed detection after importing.
Bib and name search are offered when the event type is Endurance Sports. See Create an event for choosing the event type.
