9Pic Motion is a Beta, Pro plan feature (available on Pro and Enterprise) and carries a Beta badge in the event product nav. Turning on video search for an event is done by the 9Pic team, so email support@9pic.ai to enable it.

Overview

9Pic Motion finds and clips each participant’s moments out of long event footage using AI, so participants can search for their own video clips much like they search for photos. Motion has two tabs: Overview and Configuration. Open it from an event’s product navigation: 9pic Motion.

Overview Tab

At the top is the Video Search master toggle. It shows whether video search is active for this event.
Only 9Pic staff can flip the master Video Search toggle on. As an organiser you’ll see an Enabled or Disabled badge — contact support@9pic.ai to have it enabled.
Below it, the Search Types card lists the ways participants can find clips:

Configuration Tab

Once video search is enabled, the Configuration tab exposes:
  • Video Sources — the input video links Motion processes.
  • Selfie Search Configuration — frame-extraction and clip parameters, saved with a Save button when changed:

Common Questions

The master toggle is staff-only during Beta. Email support@9pic.ai and the 9Pic team will enable video search for your event.
9Pic Flow auto-builds highlight reels from your media. Motion lets participants search long footage for their own clips (selfie search today, bib and timing search coming soon).
