9Pic Certify Guide

Overview

9Pic can generate and deliver race certificates at scale in minutes. This page explains exactly what to prepare so configuration is smooth and accurate.

Certificate Types

​

1. Regular Certificate

• Shows participant race details like finish time, position, and event category.
• Best for standard completion certificates.

2. Personalized Certificate

• Includes all regular certificate details.
• Also supports participant photo placement.
• Design must include transparent areas where photos should appear.

Certificate Ratios

Any image aspect ratio is supported. On upload, 9Pic detects the artwork ratio and uses it for the participant canvas (snapping to a common label only when the match is effectively exact). Common recommendations (not required):

• Landscape: 4:3, 16:9, 3:2
• Portrait: 2:3, 3:4
• Square: 1:1

Prefer a long side of at least 2400 px for crisp output.

Participant Data Requirements (CSV)

Your CSV should include these fields:

• BIB Number (Required): unique participant ID, for example 101 or A205
• Full Name (Required): participant name as registered
• Gender (Required): for example Male or Female
• Event Category (Required): for example 5 KM, 10 KM, Half Marathon
• Split Times (Optional): for example 00:15:30
• Split Distances (Optional): for example Split @5KM
• Net Time (Optional): chip time
• Finish Time (Required): official finish time
• Rankings (Optional): participant placement

If you include rankings, provide:

• Overall Rank
• Category Rank
• Gender Rank

Timing Data Integration

9Pic can integrate with multiple timing systems, including:

• NovaRace
• MyRace
• SportsTiming
• Long Run Timings

If you use another provider, integration is possible once access compatibility is confirmed.

Submission Checklist

1. Final certificate designs exported at the intended print/digital ratio (any W:H; common presets recommended)
2. Personalized design has transparent photo area (if used)
3. CSV includes required columns
4. Time fields follow HH:MM:SS format
5. Ranking columns added if rankings will be shown
6. Timing provider details shared with 9Pic team
