Overview

The Advanced tab in Photos is for high-impact actions like deleting photos. Use it only when you are confident about the identifiers you provide. TODO screenshot: /images/photos/advanced-tab.png (show the Photos Advanced tab with the Delete Photos card)

Actions

  • Delete Event Photos: Permanently remove photos using BIB number, Selfie UUID, or direct links.
  • Review Failed Processing: Export failed image reports from the Overview pipeline (useful before deletes).

Delete Photos (Step-by-Step)

Open Photos → Advanced

Go to your event, then open the Photos section and select Advanced.

Choose a deletion method

Select BIB Number, Selfie UUID, or Direct Links.

Paste the identifier(s)

Enter the value(s) carefully. Double-check before continuing.

Confirm deletion

Click Delete and confirm the warning prompt.

Troubleshooting

  • “BIB not found”: confirm the BIB exists and is formatted correctly (alphanumeric).
  • Selfie UUID not found: make sure Selfie Search was enabled and the UUID came from the event gallery.
  • Delete failed: try a smaller batch of direct links or retry after sync completes.
Deleting photos is a permanent action and cannot be undone. Always double-check your selection before confirming a deletion.
