Overview

The Advanced product tab contains event-level settings that affect the participant experience across the gallery, including Page Password, CTA buttons, Download Original Photos, Image Cache Refresh, and Event QR. Key Settings

  • Page Password: require a password to view the event gallery.
  • CTA Configuration: add custom call-to-action buttons (e.g., registration links).
  • Download Original Photos: download original images by BIB or Selfie UUID (if enabled).
  • Image Cache Refresh: force a refresh when branding or watermarks change.
  • Event QR: generate a QR code for the event gallery or selfie search.
These settings are typically configured once during event setup but can be adjusted at any time.

Page Password

CTA Configuration

You can add custom call-to-action buttons (e.g., registration links, feedback forms) that appear in the search bar and/or search results on the public gallery. Download Original Photos

If the organizer enabled original photo storage, you can download originals by:
  • BIB Number
  • Selfie UUID

Image Cache Refresh

Event QR

The Event QR tab generates a shareable QR code. If Selfie Search is enabled, the QR points to the selfie search page; otherwise it points to the event gallery. TODO screenshot: /images/advanced/event-qr.png (show Event QR tab and QR code)

Common Questions

Original downloads are only available if original photo storage is enabled for the event.
Yes, especially if users are still seeing old watermarks. Refreshing cache forces the latest images to load.
In the search bar and/or search results, depending on the visibility options you choose.
