# No Photos After Sync

> When Sync completes but photos are missing or unchanged.

## Symptoms

* You clicked **Sync Images** and it finished, but you still don't see new photos.
* The **Total** count in the status strip isn't increasing.

## Quick Checks

1. Confirm the correct event is open (right event name and date).
2. In the Sources manager, confirm the source shows **Live**.
3. Confirm the source folder is the one where new photos are actually being added.

## Fix Steps

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Manage Sources">
    In **9Pic Photo → Overview**, open **Step 2 — Sync Images** and click **Manage Sources**.

  <Step title="Check the source status and folder">
    Verify the correct provider and folder/path is connected, and the status shows **Live**. Fix the URL or permissions if it doesn't.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Run Sync Images again">
    Go back to the Overview tab and click **Sync Images**. Sync only imports new photos, so it's safe to re-run.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Wait for the import to finish">
    Large folders take time. Use **Refresh** on the status strip after a few minutes.
  </Step>

<Tip>
  If a provider was disconnected and reconnected, it may take a fresh sync to pick up the new folder and permissions.
</Tip>
