# Grok

> Add the 9Pic AI MCP server to Grok as a custom connector and manage event galleries from Grok chats.

## Overview

Add 9Pic AI to Grok as a **custom connector**. After one sign-in, Grok can read your events, bring in photos from a shared folder, preview processing credits and publish a gallery when you say so.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **Server address:** `https://mcp.9pic.ai/mcp`

## Add the Connector

**1. Open Grok connectors**

Go to [grok.com/connectors](https://grok.com/connectors).

**2. Create a custom connector**

Click **New Connector**, then select **Custom**.

**3. Enter the server address**

Enter `https://mcp.9pic.ai/mcp` as the MCP server URL. Include `/mcp` at the end.

**4. Sign in**

Grok opens the 9Pic sign-in page. Log in with your dashboard account and approve the access request.

**5. Try it**

Start a chat and ask *"List my 9Pic AI organisations."* Grok uses the 9Pic AI tools when your request needs them.

> [!TIP]
>
> On Grok Business and Enterprise, a team admin provisions connectors first. Ask your admin to add the same address, then connect and sign in with your own 9Pic account.

## A Typical Event in Grok

**1. Pick the event**

*"Show my events in the Running Club organisation."*

**2. Check limits**

Grok reads your plan and credits so it can tell you about limits before it changes anything.

**3. Add photos**

*"Add this Dropbox folder as a photo source and import the photos."* Sources must be HTTPS shared-folder links from Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or SharePoint.

**4. Preview processing**

Grok shows how many photos will be processed and the credits that will use. You confirm, then it starts.

**5. Publish**

*"Publish the gallery."* Participants can now open it. *"Move it back to draft"* hides it again without deleting anything.

## Disconnect

Remove 9Pic AI from [grok.com/connectors](https://grok.com/connectors). Grok loses access straight away.

## Common Questions

> **Is this the same server as Claude and ChatGPT use?**
>
> Yes. One server, one account. You can connect Grok, Claude and ChatGPT at the same time. Each keeps its own sign-in and acts with your permissions.

> **Grok asks for an API key or header.**
>
> Choose sign-in (OAuth) instead. The 9Pic AI connector does not use Developer Zone API keys.

> **No sign-in page appeared, or no tools show up.**
>
> Remove the connector and add it again with the exact address, including `/mcp` at the end. See [Fix Connection Issues](https://docs.9pic.ai/dashboard-guide/ai-assistants/troubleshooting.md) if it still fails.
